Jay was found wandering with an adult dog. Was he peer pressured into running away?! He is shy boy who seems overwhelmed in the chaos of the shelter so we?d like to find him his forever home as soon as possible. We?ve put him in a kennel with two energetic, playful pups his age and hope that they will help to bring him out of his shell. We have no doubt that once he knows he?s safe and loved this sweet boy will blossom and be a wonderful member of his new family. Jay is 4 months old and weighs 25 pounds, so we expect him to be 50-60 pounds full grown. This dog is a guest at the Mendocino County Animal Care and Control shelter located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah, CA. xxxx2. You can meet this dog or any of the dogs listed under Mendocino County Animal Care and Control by going directly to the shelter or making an appointment with the adoption coordinator by calling 707-467-xxxx. Although our usual adoption policy is, first come, first to get the dog, we do make special arrangements with people traveling long distances, so contact us to find out how to have a dog held for you. All dogs are spayed and neutered before they can go home with you. If you rent you must have written permission to have a pet. If you live in Mendocino County any dog you have now must be licensed. Shelter hours: Wednesday: 10-7 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10-5 Sundays Monday and holidays: CLOSED Adoptions must begin 1/2 hours before closing.
