Alfred is a happy, happy boy! This big guy wants to be friends with everyone; dog, kid or adult. He?d probably even try to befriend a cat, but we doubt they?d like him much! Alfred is not only friendly, but smart, affectionate and attentive as well! Since he?s past his crazy puppy years he will be an easy addition to any kind of home. We think he would be a perfect family dog given his kind, gentle, easy going nature. We are serious when we say that his new family will be a very lucky one! He is 4 years old and weighs 72 pounds. This dog is a guest at the Mendocino County Animal Care and Control shelter located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah, CA. xxxx2. You can meet this dog or any of the dogs listed under Mendocino County Animal Care and Control by going directly to the shelter or making an appointment with the adoption coordinator by calling 707-467-xxxx. Although our usual adoption policy is, first come, first to get the dog, we do make special arrangements with people traveling long distances, so contact us to find out how to have a dog held for you. All dogs are spayed and neutered before they can go home with you. If you rent you must have written permission to have a pet. If you live in Mendocino County any dog you have now must be licensed. Shelter hours: Wednesday: 10-7 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10-5 Sundays Monday and holidays: CLOSED Adoptions must begin 1/2 hours before closing.
