Katie was a beloved family dog; affectionate, well behaved and very smart. Unfortunately her family could not afford to keep her and asked us to find her a new home. This is a fabulous dog who will be an easy addition to any kind of home. She gets along great with both other dogs and kids, already knows quite a few verbal commands and is HOUSE TRAINED!! Katie does have some mild food allergies and needs eat only certain kinds of dog food, but it?s easy to find and affordable. Katie would be a great first dog for someone, or an addition to a busy family since she is already accustomed to living in a home. She is 3 years old and weighs 41 pounds. This dog is a guest at the Mendocino County Animal Care and Control shelter located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah, CA. xxxx2. You can meet this dog or any of the dogs listed under Mendocino County Animal Care and Control by going directly to the shelter or making an appointment with the adoption coordinator by calling 707-467-xxxx. Although our usual adoption policy is, first come, first to get the dog, we do make special arrangements with people traveling long distances, so contact us to find out how to have a dog held for you. All dogs are spayed and neutered before they can go home with you. If you rent you must have written permission to have a pet. If you live in Mendocino County any dog you have now must be licensed. Shelter hours: Wednesday: 10-7 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10-5 Sundays Monday and holidays: CLOSED Adoptions must begin 1/2 hours before closing.
